One of our teachers, Noah, is also trained in Structural Integration, allowing him to quickly identify areas needing improvement and help you adjust your practice accordingly.
We understand that yoga is much more than just a physical practice, so we offer workshops and evening meditation sessions where we can explore the healing power of yoga both on and off the mat.
“I left the Yoga Palace feeling totally rejuvenated and refreshed and much fitter and focused than when I arrived!”, Carmel (UK)
We are the only retreat in Cambodia that offers a shaded rooftop yoga space, allowing you to practice while surrounded by nature. You can enjoy evening classes as the sun sets over Bokor Mountain. In the morning, practice begins with the gentle morning sun and finishes before the heat sets in. You will feel connected to nature as you practice Yoga the way it was traditionally intended.
“Practicing yoga while watching the sun paint the sky was nothing short of magical.”, Romina (Argentina)
We are called the Yoga Palace for a reason. Each room has a bed fit for a king, made from traditional rosewood, with a brand-new mattress. All rooms have en-suite bathrooms. Wake up to mountain views and enjoy sitting on the wide terrace before starting your morning practice.
“The rooms are very nice, new and clean, and waking up and doing yoga with that view is the best start of the day. It’s a palace alright.”, Daphne (Netherlands)
Our chef & owner of the property, Sina, has over 10 years of experience cooking delicious and nutritious food for yoga practitioners. Her passion for cooking shines through in every meal she prepares, starting each day at the local market to select the freshest ingredients. She uses locally sourced fruits and vegetables to create varied menus that provide the nutrients you need to support your yoga practice. Whether you’re vegetarian, vegan, or neither, you’ll find nourishing options that energize and satisfy.
“Sina who owns the building and lives their with her family is an amazing cook. The 3 meals a day all felt incredibly good for you. Clean, delicous and filling everytime, this alone made us feel great each day with the yoga as a bonus!”, Danny (UK)
Improve your Yoga practice, or develop one if you are new. Our teachers are experts in a variety of styles designed to improve your strength, flexibility, and general wellbeing.
We provide a tranquil space where you can unplug from the modern world. We encourage quiet reflection, journaling and simply enjoying the view: the perfect place to clear your mind.
We have created a place that provides ideal conditions for strangers to become friends, with shared meals and activities. We all have something to learn from one another.
An aligned body, calm mind, and supportive community can give us a deeper perspective. Here you can connect with something greater than yourself, whatever you choose to call it.
A retreat at the Yoga Palace will make you feel like part of a family. The space and practices gently encourage you to get to know the other guests and the Khmer family who owns the property. The staff will make you feel at home as soon as you arrive and we will do our best to accommodate any special requirements you have.

julia ambrose2025-05-17Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I had the most incredible 8 day stay at The Yoga Palace. Because of the small group size, the yoga classes were tailored to our individual goals and areas we wanted to improve. Noah (the yoga instructor’s) deep understanding of body mechanics and alignment truly sets his teaching apart—each session felt intentional, with personalized feedback that helped me grow in ways I didn’t expect. Both Noah and the team share a genuine passion for yoga and wellness, which shines through in friendly conversations, as well as in the meditations, workshops, and classes. The space is equally special. The rooftop yoga space was a highlight, with stunning views of the surrounding mountains and jungle. That and the sound of birds all around created the most peaceful and grounding atmosphere. I would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking to deepen their practice, reset, or simply connect with a supportive community in a beautiful setting. dora ben abdelkader2025-04-12Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. As beginners in yoga, this retreat was an absolute delight. The classes were incredibly enjoyable, taught with genuine passion and care. We especially appreciated the teachings on yoga philosophy — they added a whole new depth to our understanding and made the experience truly enriching. The setting was simply breathtaking. Practicing yoga with a view of the mountains at sunset made every moment feel magical, enhancing the sense of peace and connection. Each meditation session was unique and deeply meaningful, offering us different ways to explore presence and mindfulness. Sheila, our host, was absolutely wonderful from start to finish. Her kindness and attentiveness made us feel at home throughout the retreat. The meals were delicious and impressively varied — a true highlight of our stay. Our room was cozy and comfortable, and we were lucky to form some beautiful connections with fellow participants. We wholeheartedly recommend this experience to anyone looking to deepen their understanding of yoga — not just the physical practice, but the profound philosophy and lifestyle behind it. Thank you so much for everything. We left with relaxed bodies, peaceful minds, and unforgettable memories. A wonderful experience created and delivered by a passionate, knowledgeable, thoughtful and fun(ny) team. Would recommend unreservedly for anyone looking to kick start, improve or consolidate their yoga practice. Daphne Gautier2025-03-05Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. This was my first yoga retreat and I could not have picked a better place. Felt very welcome from the start, and throughout the whole stay. The teachers Noah and Emily are really knowledgeable and have a very personal approach. Emily guided a yoga nidra session while I was there, that was a great experience. Noah also does structural integration, highly recommended if you want to learn more about your body and it helps with the yoga practice. Jake and Sina who run the palace are very welcoming and helpful, Sina makes the best food, and I met a lot of nice fellow students, with all yoga levels. The evening meditations are very insightful, make sure you have a Friday in your stay ☺️, and learning about the yoga background during the philosophy workshops really made it complete. The rooms are very nice, new and clean, and waking up and doing yoga with that view is the best start of the day. It’s a palace alright. Booked for 5 nights, stayed for 12 and would have stayed longer if visa and plans would have allowed. 10/10. Lina Betnér2025-02-27Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We loved this place, would’ve stayed longer if we could. Definitely coming back someday❤️ Sandra Barnea2025-02-22Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. ✨ A Soul-Nourishing Experience!✨ For my birthday, I treated myself to 4 days at this fantastic retreat. From the moment I arrived, I felt like I had stepped into a loving community and a sanctuary of peace and healing, which, apparently, I did. Upon meeting the amazingly lovely, accepting people who run this magical place, I felt like I had arrived home. Surrounded by birdsong, Bokor mountain, and all the splendid nature of rural Cambodia, this retreat was the perfect place to reset, reconnect, and realign with my inner self. Two open-air yoga classes per day plus surprisingly tasty and nutritious vegetarian meals amid lovely company made for a spectacularly healthy and nourishing lifestyle. The lovingly prepared, nourishing meals were a delight, making each day truly a celebration of wellness. I am left deeply wanting to live this lifestyle 24/7. The teachers were nothing short of extraordinary—radiating love, wisdom, and a deep passion for their practice. Each session was thoughtfully guided, blending movement, breathwork, and joy in a way that felt both empowering and uplifting. Not to mention that it’s pretty darn awesome to practice yoga outside in nature. There is a beautiful, kind and healing community that is being created here. Beyond the yoga, the retreat was infused with a sense of creativity and soulfulness. Dancing meditations, low-key spiritual discussions and the structural integration bodywork sessions I had participated in left me feeling like I had found a gateway to deeper awareness of myself and my physical health. Each holistic offering seemed designed to awaken my spirit and foster a more joyful experience of what life could be like for myself, of who I could become. The energy of this place is truly magical. I left feeling lighter, inspired, and profoundly renewed. I was delightfully surprised how much I enjoyed my stay here. If you’re looking for a non-fussy, authentic and affordable yoga retreat that will touch your soul and leave you glowing from the inside out, this is it. ✨💛 Logistics: The retreat is essentially one large building yet there is plenty to explore on foot in the rustic neighborhood, resorts with swimming pools & food/drink. A short tuk-tuk ride gets you into the cute town of Kampot. Rent a moto and live like a local. However, please be warned that southern Cambodia is very, very humid, like, oppressively so. Pace yourself, stay hydrated and have bug spray. Rooms are not air conditioned yet but there are fans in each one. Beds are quite comfortable and there are warm showers. The space is new, clean and conscious. By all means, if this is an experience you want, then treat yourself here. Thank you to everyone at Yoga Palace for a wonderful stay!! ❤️ Ricardo B C2025-02-18Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Passamos duas semanas muito agradáveis no The Yoga Palace. Celine M2025-02-12Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I was planning to stay 3 nights but I stayed 4 more! It's a brand new place that opened in January. The owner of the place is a really nice local woman who cooks for the students and teachers. The morning yoga with Noah is amazing and based on movements that makes your body more flexible and healthy. I booked 2 sessions of his structural integration and it's game changer. The sunset yoga depends on the teacher. Fabio was great and I'm sure the new teachers will be! It's not just yoga, it's also learning about the meaning during the optional morning workshop. I also enjoyed the evening meditation that changes every night (mantra, candle, love...). Thanks everyone! I might see you again at the end of the year! Amina H2025-02-07Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I didn’t stay at the yoga palace but they were kind enough to allow a drop in session for evening meditation. The facilities looked very nice and the team were very welcoming. The session was guided and focused on our happy moments in life which eased the meditation for beginners. I enjoyed every minute and would definitely book if I am around. Thanks Fabi for introducing us to this place. Background - early 30s married couple, long term travelling for first time and also yoga beginners The Yoga Palace was brilliant. Jake who manages the place is friendly, down to earth and very welcoming and great to chat too. Noah our main yoga instructor is super chilled despite his vast experience. He makes you feel at ease from day 1, and accommodates all abilities, tailouring sessions to your needs and skill level flawlessly. Also great to chat to about life (his own crazy experiences, and your own). Sina who owns the building and lives their with her family is an amazing cook. The 3 meals a day all felt incredibly good for you. Clean, delicous and filling everytime, this alone made us feel great each day with the yoga as a bonus! The schedule has enough structure and free time to really get the most out of the retreat but also enjoy down time. The location is a 10 minute tuk tuk out in the sticks away from all the city noise in the forest, with daily sun rise and sun set views for the yoga against the backdrop lf tree tops and the mountain. Genuinely beautiful. Despite only being here for 3 nights/4 days, both my wife and I found the entire experience so refreshing and restorative, and we were sad to leave. Highly recommend to all Kampot visitors, much love Danny and Chloe
Our daily program provides a transformative experience while still offering plenty of breathing space. Every day after lunch, you have several hours to yourself where you can relax, journal, explore the local area, or visit some of the beautiful nearby attractions (which we can arrange for you). Whether you want to go kayaking on the river or sip a mango shake by the pool at a local hotel, there is plenty of time.
Start your day flowing with the sun, just as yogis have done for centuries. Unique in Cambodia, our rooftop studio offers an unparalleled connection to this ancient tradition, with nature providing the backdrop. As you move through your poses, watch the sky transform into a canvas of yellows, pinks, and oranges.
Morning sessions sync naturally with your body’s awakening rhythm – gentle movements building energy as as the sun rises. Evening classes begin with a dynamic practice, which cools down into a more gentle style as the sun dips below the horizon.
We work with the subtle warmth of dawn and dusk, allowing you to absorb the sun’s natural benefits without overwhelming heat. It’s the perfect balance of light, energy, and vitamin D to enhance your practice.
“The rooftop yoga space was a highlight, with stunning views of the surrounding mountains and jungle. That and the sound of birds all around created the most peaceful and grounding atmosphere. I would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking to deepen their practice, reset, or simply connect with a supportive community in a beautiful setting.” Julia (Canada)
Our next-door neighbor, The Village Inn, has a pool that you can access provided you buy food or drinks from their restaurant.
Another resort, only minutes away, offers two swimming pools, a jacuzzi and a sauna.
There is also a minimarket in walking distance where you can stock up on any essentials you need.
The full program runs from Monday – Saturday. Sundays have all meals, optional Yoga and the chance to relax or explore.

We recognize the diverse approaches to yoga practice—from its ancient spiritual heritage to its modern wellness applications—and welcome practitioners at every stage of their journey. Our teaching emphasizes the core principles: mental clarity and physical well-being.
While yoga requires dedication, we believe in creating a relaxed atmosphere. Our retreat maintains a balance between focused practice and casual comfort, fostering an environment where learning happens naturally and laughter is welcome. This approach helps participants fully embrace the restorative benefits of yoga and meditation while feeling completely at ease.
Structural Integration (also known as Rolfing) is a form of hands-on bodywork that systematically addresses the body’s connective tissue, or fascia. This specialized therapy aims to improve posture, flexibility, and movement patterns by releasing longstanding tension and restrictions in the body’s soft tissues.
During a session, our practitioner uses precise manual techniques to work with your body’s fascia—the web-like tissue that surrounds muscles, bones, and organs. Think of it as reorganizing the body’s internal structure to restore natural alignment and freedom of movement.
For our yoga students, Structural Integration offers unique benefits:
The combination of Structural Integration with yoga practice creates a comprehensive approach to improving body awareness, movement, and overall physical well-being. Our teachers use these insights to customize your yoga instruction, ensuring you get the most benefit from your time with us.
We offer all guests a free Structual Integration session, which helps us to figure out what practices will be most beneficial for you. Our main Yoga teacher also integrates ideas from this powerful practice into his Hatha Yoga classes.
Our mission is to make the healing power of Yoga accessible to everyone, regardless of their beliefs or level of experience.
As a locally owned retreat, The Yoga Palace is committed to Cambodia’s post-pandemic recovery of the tourism sector. Founded by a native Kampot resident, we prioritize local employment, and revenues benefit the local economy.
Our impact extends beyond economic support. We offer donation-based classes for people in the local area, introducing them to mindfulness and personal growth. By choosing The Yoga Palace, guests become part of a larger mission: supporting community resilience and sustainable tourism in this vibrant region.
