The Yoga Palace

The Yoga Palace Daily Schedule

Just another day in paradise.. here is our schedule.

07.15 Morning Meditation

We start early while it’s still cool on the shaded rooftop. 70-90 minutes. The practice varies—often we begin with a sequence based on the 5 Tibetan Rites, then move into Hatha/Vinyasa, finishing with a short meditation.

08.30 Breakfast

Fresh fruit daily, plus porridge, muesli, or pancakes. Scrambled eggs or tofu. Local ingredients, some from our garden. This is a great time to drink Green Tea or Hibiscus Tea (available all day).

11.00 Workshop

A chance to connect with other guests through shared activity. Could be a yoga philosophy discussion (Yoga Sutras of Patanjali and other texts), drawing, jewelry making, journaling, learning Khmer, or a breathwork session. It changes.

On Sundays, instead of the workshop, there is the option of doing a silent meditation on the rooftop Shala.

12.00 Lunch

Early lunch to give you more free time. Local vegetables, tofu, eggs, traditional Khmer soups, lentils and pulses. Sometimes local ingredients like banana leaf or lotus stems. Rice is taken seriously in the Kingdom of Cambodia—we get good quality and there’s always plenty.

12.30 Free Time

Relax in a hammock, explore the area, swim at nearby pools, or just rest. If you’re here for a short stay, we suggest keeping this time low-key to stay in the mindful zone.

17.00 Sunset Yoga

For many, the highlight of the day! We practice as the sun sets over Bokor Mountain—the sky shifts through oranges, pinks, reds. Hatha/Vinyasa, sometimes Yin or restorative, then deep relaxation after sunset. 70-90 minutes. On Sundays, the class starts at 17.30 and is around 50 minutes.

18.30 Dinner

Similar to lunch. Healthy vegetarian or vegan dishes that change daily, using local ingredients and Khmer recipies. Sometimes you will have the chance to enjoy a traditional Khmer desert.

19.30 Evening Meditation

Calming the mind before sleep. The practice varies—candle gazing, insight meditation, loving-kindness, pranayama, even dancing on Fridays. We suggest avoiding screens afterward to let the feeling settle in.
