Treatments

We've partnered with local Khmer massage specialists to offer retreat participants a range of traditional and therapeutic treatments. All sessions take place on-site. To book, speak to any member of the team.

Head, Back & Shoulder

A lot of tension accumulates in the upper body — particularly after travel, long sitting, or sustained yoga practice. These treatments focus on the neck, shoulders, and back, working into the muscles and connective tissue that yoga stretches but doesn't always fully release.

Head Back Shoulder Massage

Slow, firm pressure through the scalp, neck, upper back, and shoulders. Good for releasing the kind of tightness that builds up between sessions — or for winding down after an intensive practice day.

1 hour$24
1.5 hours$32
2 hours$40
Back Relief Treatment

Targeted work on the back using deeper pressure and assisted stretching. Useful if you're carrying specific tightness or discomfort, or if you want to go deeper than a general massage allows.

1 hour$30

Traditional Khmer

Khmer massage is Cambodia's own bodywork tradition, distinct from Thai massage though related in origin. It uses rhythmic compression, passive stretching, and acupressure along the body's energy lines. Performed on a mat, fully clothed, without oil. It works well alongside yoga — both practices share an understanding of the body's energy pathways, and a Khmer massage the evening before or after class can noticeably improve range of motion and ease of movement.

Traditional Khmer Massage

The full traditional treatment. Expect steady palm and thumb pressure, gentle rocking, and assisted stretches. Calming rather than intense. A good choice for your first session or as a regular evening wind-down during your stay.

Traditional Khmer Herb Ball Hot Compress

Steamed cloth bundles packed with lemongrass, kaffir lime, turmeric, and other local herbs are pressed and rolled across the body. The heat loosens tight muscle tissue; the herbs carry mild anti-inflammatory properties. Particularly good for sore muscles after deeper yoga sessions, or for anyone with chronic tightness in the back and legs.

2 hours$70

Aromatherapy

A full-body oil massage using your choice of scented carrier oil. The oils here are all natural and suited to the climate — light enough to absorb well in the heat. The slow, flowing strokes are designed to calm the nervous system, making this a natural complement to the meditation and breathwork sessions at the retreat.

Choose your oil: Coconut · Jasmine · Lemongrass · Olive · Lavender

Aromatherapy Massage

Long, smooth strokes over the full body, with attention to the back, legs, and arms. Less about pressure, more about settling. Good on rest days or after a meditation-heavy day when you want to stay in a quiet headspace.

Oil Massages

Oil-based bodywork applied directly to the skin, allowing the therapist to work more deeply into the muscles than dry massage permits. Each variant below has a different pressure profile and intention — from light and restorative to firm and targeted.

Muscles Relief Oil Massage

Firm, focused work on the major muscle groups. Uses deeper strokes to address tightness in the back, glutes, and legs — the areas that take the most load in yoga. A good choice after a physically demanding class or workshop.

2 hours$50
Stress Relief Oil Massage

Medium pressure with a gentler rhythm. Focuses on the back, neck, and shoulders — where stress tends to settle physically. Pairs well with the meditation sessions; a good way to extend the calm beyond the mat.

1 hour$26
1.5 hours$34
2 hours$44
Oil Massage

A straightforward full-body oil massage without a specific therapeutic focus. Adaptable pressure, good coverage. The right option if you want a thorough, uncomplicated treatment.

1 hour$24
1.5 hours$32
2 hours$40
Hot Oil Massage

Warm oil applied throughout. The heat helps the oil penetrate more quickly and softens tight tissue before pressure is applied. Particularly effective for anyone carrying stiffness in the lower back, hips, or hamstrings.

1.5 hours$44
2 hours$56

Foot & Leg

The feet and legs do a lot of quiet work during a yoga retreat — standing poses, balances, and walking between sessions all accumulate. These treatments address fatigue and tension from the ground up, and several of them incorporate reflexology points that correspond to organs and systems throughout the body.

Foot Massage / Foot Reflexology

Thumb and finger pressure across the sole, arch, heel, and toes, with attention to the reflex zones that map to the rest of the body. Grounding and restorative. A particularly good option in the evening after a full day of practice.

1 hour$16
1.5 hours$24
2 hours$32
Full Legs Massage

Covers the calves, shins, knees, thighs, and hamstrings. Useful after sessions that load the legs heavily — warrior sequences, lunges, standing balances. Helps clear lactic acid and restore flexibility in the muscles that yoga asks the most of.

1 hour$20
1.5 hours$30
2 hours$40
Head, Back, Shoulder & Foot

A combined treatment covering both ends of the body. Good value if you want broad coverage in a single session — the combination of upper body and foot work addresses most of the areas that a yoga day loads.

1 hour$30
1.5 hours$40
2 hours$50
Foot Scrub

Exfoliation treatment using a natural scrub paste to remove dead skin and soften the soles. Often combined with a foot massage. Simple and practical — especially worth it if you've been walking barefoot.

1 hour$20
Foot Spa Treatment

A fuller foot care ritual: warm soak, scrub, and massage. Takes more time than the standalone scrub or massage but covers all three stages. A good wind-down treatment toward the end of your stay.

Remedia Healing

Remedia

Remedia is a visiting healer and therapist who works with retreat guests on request. Her practice sits outside conventional massage — she works with energy, the body's internal organs, and the nervous system. She holds certifications in Wat Po and Chiang Mai style Thai massage, is a Reiki Master and Teacher, and is certified in Chi Ne Tsang and Pranic Healing by Grandmaster Mantak Chia. If you're looking for something that goes a little deeper than physical bodywork, her sessions are worth exploring. All sessions are $30 per hour; multiple hours available. Speak to the team to book.

Energy Healing

Remedia's primary work. She uses healing energy to address what she describes as relationship issues, past life karma, soul retrieval, generational patterns, psychic disturbances, and entity removal. This kind of work sits outside Western clinical frameworks — approach it with an open mind and judge by how you feel afterward.

1 hour$30
Chi Ne Tsang Massage

An abdominal massage practice rooted in Taoist tradition. Remedia works directly on the internal organs — stomach, intestines, liver, and so on — using gentle, sustained pressure. The intention is to release stored stress, toxins, and suppressed emotion held in the organ tissue. Remedia is certified by Grandmaster Mantak Chia, who systematised this practice. Distinct from anything else on this menu, and a good complement to the deeper meditation and breathwork sessions at the retreat.

1 hour$30
Mini Courses

Short transmissions taught by Remedia and her husband Richard. Topics include working with white light, cleansing the aura and chakras, Kundalini, and deep meditative states. They use mind-to-mind transmission during guided sessions — a method of direct experiential teaching rather than instruction alone. Priced per session; ask the team for details.
